Christophe Nicolle is Professor at the University of Burgundy. He obtained his PhD in computerscience in 1996.Director of the CIAD (Distributed Knowledge and Artificial Intelligence) laboratory that he co‐founded in 2019, he works in the field of reasoning about knowledge and truth (a sub part of AIdomain).In 2003, he developed a first reasoning system on building data and participated in the creation ofthe company Active3D. This company is developing a web platform for facility management.This project won the 2014 global innovation competition in the BigData category with more than130 million m2 of real estate and 500,000 energy sensors.In 2019, he participated in the creation of the Wittym company, which is developing a digitalreasoning environment around data from BIM (building Information Modeling) and BOS (BuildingOperating system). He is currently the scientific manager of labcom AIDD4H in collaboration withthe company Oncodesign.This project aims to develop a hybrid AI platform in the field of therapeutic targeting.He works on the hybridized reasoning part within the smarticity project H2020 Response led bythe metropolis of Dijon. It ensures the scientific co‐responsibility of the Readaptic project carried by the Dijon UniversityHospital.
