Ifm offers a range of 3D cameras with time-of-flight technology to increase the autonomy of your mobile robots. These devices have integrated infrared illumination which illuminates the scene and calculates the distance between the scene and the sensor for each pixel. A point cloud, a depth map and an infrared image are then made available, continuously, to better perceive the environment and react accordingly. All of this in industrial boxes, with a 5-year guarantee, associated with connectivity via OpenCV/ PCL or ROS / ROS 2.
